Schwab insulated files exceed the stringent requirements set by UL to meet their “C” (fire, explosion, and impact) rating – they will withstand external temperatures reaching 1700°F for one hour. Inner steel drawer vaults make each drawer a separate insulated unit. Interior temperatures are not to exceed 350°F.
Maintenance free rugged suspension, inset latching drawer handles and adjustable hanger bars to allow for hanging file folders in either letter or legal sizes are just a few of Schwab’s files standard features.

FIRE RESISTANT MEDIA STORAGE INSERT
Fire-resistant media storage insert converts any UL 350-1hour rated product into one that can protect media from the heat and humidity of a fire and will store 90-31/2” or 96-51/4” Diskettes, 20 CDs or 28 zip disks. Interior temperatures are not to exceed 125°F for at least one hour. Color: Gray.

Data is also protected against humidity, magnetic interference and theft when locked inside a 350°F - 1 hour rated product. Easily transportable - weighs only 15 lbs.
